Types of Barbed Wire

• Single Strand Barbed Wire: Economical and lightweight, suitable for general applications where moderate protection is required.

• Double Strand Barbed Wire: Formed with two line wires twisted together, providing higher tensile strength and resistance to cutting, ideal for heavy-duty uses such as prisons, military zones, and borders.

• Galvanized Barbed Wire: Zinc-coated for excellent rust resistance and long service life.

• PVC Coated Barbed Wire: Available in colors such as green, blue, and yellow, offering weatherproof protection and improved appearance.

Wire Diameter and Barb Spacing

Common wire diameters range from 1.6 mm to 2.5 mm (BWG 12–15).
Barb spacing is available in 3", 4", 5", and 6" (76–150 mm), allowing different security levels.
